Each configuration is based upon custom requirements and designing a material handling solution.
Wire Rope Slings are more abrasion and cut resistant than web or round slings. They are lighter in weight than mesh and chain slings.
Our Wire Rope Slings with Latching or Locking Hooks are of the highest quality in one-four leg configurations. Available in Steel and Stainless Steel (316) with capacities up to 34,000 lbs,
Eye material choices of Steel or Stainless Steel (316).
Wire construction is either 6X19 or 7 X7 & IWRC (core type). The 6X 19 construction is more flexible than 7 X7. The Crimped eye slings are secured with a metal sleeve.
It meets both ASME and OSHA standards and is designed for tough conditions.
Configurations include One Leg, Two Leg, Three Leg and Four Leg.
Load/Stress Calculations and CAD Simulation file can be generated at request..
The core components of each Sling assembly are as under :
- Ring assembly
- Cable assembly
- Plate and Eye bolt assembly (optional for anchoring)
Ring Assembly comprises of :
- Thimble Ring Type II, Figure G411 , material : FF-T-276
- Sleeve Ferrule, material: Copper
- Cable,Wire Rope, Steel Flexible pre-formed , Type I, 3/8" dia, zinc coated, per MIL-DTL-83420
- Weld less Ring, 6" outer diameter, 4" inner diameter, type VI per RR-C-271
Cable Assembly comprises of :
- Thimble Ring Type II, Figure G411 , material : FF-T-276
- Turnbuckle, Jaw and Eye .75 inch dia, 12" take-up, with galvanized lock nuts, per ASTM F1145
- Sleeve Ferrule, material: Copper
- Cable,Wire Rope, Steel Flexible pre-formed , Type I, 3/8" dia, zinc coated, per MIL-DTL-83420
- Safety Hook Assembly
Plate and Eye Bolt Assembly (optional for anchoring)
- Plate
- Eye Bolt
- Sleeve , Copper
- Cable,Wire Rope, Steel Flexible pre-formed , Type I, 0.06" dia, zinc coated, per MIL-DTL-83420
Please note the above is sample Sling configuration, but a wide choices of Rings, Wire rope, Eye Bolt Hooks and Turnbuckles are available. Anchoring arrangement varies per each application.
